well i had some up with this mini screen

like the tutor advised but doesnt really matter now just thought id put it up.

image 2 is where you go when you click on a diary entrance ( i don't think we need to worry if all diary entrewnts aren't active links)

i really don't think it will be hard to put your diary into the same design

I don't want to freak you out, but i think i have come up with some ideas to just round things off.

I have been thinking that us both using the same diary page is, how can i put it..unrealistic.

So take a look at these designs.

Dan, this is the polaroid I'm thinking of using..It's actually the back of a polaroid, but i think it looks more effective, the front of a polaroid seems to disappear due to it being so bright white..

This is my idea for abit of emmersitivy in the site having an area that after the students or prospective students have looked at our everyday look at student lie, hey can post up questions and comments for me and dave to reply to.

Ideas.

Hey dude what about adding something emersive to our website, i was thinking that we could make a facebook group and put a link to it on the website, where people could post there questions about university life in nottingham and then we would answer them? what you think?

Also after the dot and pin the other day we need to consider audience and i think this could be a great informative project for people comeing to university. Allowing them to see the non glamours side of being at university! But then they could ask us for the truth not the prospectus "truth". what you reckon?

inspiration?

hey dave these are some works by a design team from japan called "phunk studio" thought id post them up here for you to have alook at. I was thinking the bottom two are of a whale with cogs in it to show how it works and stuff i thought this could apply to our cloacks idea really well what do you think?

The top photo was one i just really liked and i love that style of illustration i reckon even somehting like that could be cool.

Im just thinking about this style thing atm as from what ive learnt from my house mates who have already done this that once you have a theme and a design style its alot easier to put your information into context and apply it in that style.

Just a thought let me know what you think.

Our Topic

"Clocks"

Weve decieded to do clocks in and around nottingham were not quite sure the way were going with it i.e if its going to be in story form or just in an information for. But we think the topic has a huge potentional visually and ideas wise. Dave said he thought of the idea because as he walked to uni he saw so many clocks in so many shapes and forms.

Dave lets meet at 10am tomorrow at bondington to go round and start researching and putting together ideas. Tonite im going just brainstorm some some theme ideas and some ideas for how he website might work.

Also dude guest lecture tomorrow at eleven so we might skip that and just work or maybe we could do some work before and then some after?
